At Step Up, we want to make it clear that your money is safe. We believe the only right thing to do is offer full refunds if a competition is not held. If things change for the worse and we are NOT able to move forward with a competition, you will receive a full refund, minus the cost of ordered awards. At cost. No mark up. We will deliver your awards to your studio in the worst-case scenario. After all, I think we all deserve a trophy for surviving this pandemic.
Things will be different as we navigate a competition during a pandemic. The details of the competition will be determined as we get closer to the date, because things are changing so constantly. Communication will be clear and frequent. Some possibilities to plan:
-Dancers and spectators will likely be masked at all times except for dancers during performance.
-Temperature checks and/or event "check in" may be required by county health departments.
-Social distancing will most likely be required, which may limit the # of audience allowed per studio.
-A festival-style competition is a possibility, where the studio will perform all #s in their own block of time. In this case, the studio will also receive their awards/rankings following their performances, then leave the venue. (We did an event this way last year and it was parents' favorite!)
